Florida Hospital Carrollwood has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ for Advanced Certification in Inpatient Diabetes by demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for disease-specific care in hospitals.
Florida Hospital Carrollwood underwent a rigorous on-site survey in December 2013. At the invitation of the hospital, a Joint Commission expert surveyor evaluated the hospital for compliance with standards of care specific to the needs of patients with Diabetes or pre-Diabetes.

Florida Hospital Carrollwood is now the first in Hillsborough County (Tampa area) and one of only five hospitals in the state of Florida to have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ for Advanced Certification in Inpatient Diabetes.
